    About 4 1/2 billion years, although it was in gaseous form before that, so, when it exactly solidified is hard to be precise about. It is a bit like saying when did an ice cube become an ice cube instead of being water. It takes time. The oldest rocks that have been found are around 4.5 billion years though.
