What are y’alls opinion on finger tattoos?

I’ve been wanting to get a finger tattoo, because I think they look cute. Should I though? I heard it smears or starts to fade with time... is that true?

No fingers. Imagine shaking hands with someone with that all over them. Also sweat will ruin them

But will you still think it's "cute" in sixty years?

I think it looks particularly bad. Because then it has an amateurish look

to it. The ones I've seen are not a beautiful, fancy professional tattoo,

but look like something someone did in prison, with shoe polish and home

    made tattoo needles.

    But that's just my opinion.

Plus, it's more visible to everyone. With any transaction you do, people

    can see it.

the best tattoos are ones u can cover with clothes. Neck, hand and face ones are the worst

I would advise against getting a tattoo anywhere. I just don’t think they look nice. Especially if they smudge, which they are likely to do.

I am not a huge fan of tattoos, but of the places to get them finger is a good choice. Finger tattoos are subtle. My cousin has a finger tattoo of a jesus fish.

I love them. I suppose since you use your hands more than any other part of your body, they might fade eventually. You can always have them retouched.

Yup. It fades faster/smudges more than most tattoos due to all the chemicals that your hands are exposed to. Some artists refuse to do hand tattoos and those that do don't offer a touch up because of this. My friend used to have a finger tattoo and she would have to pay to get it touched up every 3months.
