What does NEC stand for in bus language?

For instance at a bus station it would be B & A NEC , B and A being the names of the streets where the bus station is operating on

    In commuter transit service usage terms it would refer to the "North East Corridor" service area.

    The first letter or two designate the area of travel, the C stands for "the corridor" of the travel area.

    I used to take buses back in college. Never heard of such thing. Ask the information desk.
