I have green eyes and want to try deep burgundy mascara, what color eyeshadow should I use.?

That would look terrible and not flattering.

You should instead try a plum purple shade — this really brings out and flatters green eyes

You could do a liner, eyeshadow or mascara that is this color.

I agree with what everybody else is saying I like the burgundy or browns type of tones or burnt orangey tones

There's quite a few colors or eye shadows you can wear with green eyes and the burgundy mascara:-

    - green (whichever color the iris is will also suit you in eye makeup)

    - burgundy (the same color will look complimentary)

    - tan

    - any shade which is close to your natural skin tone

    - red (since it's opposite green on the color wheel)

    - any red based purples, like wine, plum and lavender shades

    - white

    - red based browns, like terracotta

    - bronze, copper and gold, which can help to highlight golden undertones

    Hope this helps.

Just use burgundy eyeshadow instead with black mascara

You could go with a burgundy color for the shadow as well or try something neutral like browns

I think burgundy would be best. If you dont have that, a neutral color would be good. To use a different color like blue or green would be too much color and it would all clash. So stick with the same color as the mascara or a neutral/natural color. Let the mascara stand out and be the focus
