Im a 22/f. I went to one of those restaurant/bar places with a mechanical bull. Why did they make me take my boots off to ride the bull?

Maybe for some reason they think your boot might fly off your foot and hit someone which could cause liability. I could be wrong though... Thats kind of odd though, because I feel like boots are the ideal shoe for bull riding.

So your boots won't hurt the bull! lol

Because, when you fall off the bull your boots could injure you.

Did they have any heel on them? Even a tiny one can punture the soft bit you land on

There have also been cases of footwear coming off and hitting people, boots are often loose fitting so you can slip them off which means they could easily come off while riding the bull
