i just found out I have no network interface card for my dell dimension 2350 how do I find the right one. I was given this pc.?

Are you sure? The NIC is embedded on the motherboard, if the manual is right https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/product...
Look in the back. Is there a place near the USB ports where an Ethernet cable can plug in?
But if the built-in network interface won't work, then you can buy any ordinary PCI (not PCI Express) network card. Here's one https://www.amazon.com/Port-Gigabit-Ethernet-Netwo... but if you look at flea markets, garage sales, and such, you can probably find one for a dollar.

thats old. you need to fit a PCI ethernet card usually 10/100 (NOT a pci-express) typically a 3c905b is what was fitted. You can fit a faster modern one so long as it is PCI 33 bus speed 32 bit compatible.Source(s): https://www.cnet.com/products/3com-3c905b-tx-10-10... https://www.ebuyer.com/83820-d-link-gigabit-pci-ne...

In addition to what Riderick says the NIC may have been disabled in the BIOS so you should check there as well.
