Very cold. It can get below zero even without the wind chill factor.

It's not too bad here summer or winter and spring and fall are both long.

I'm at Cape Town, South Africa. Cold winds blow in here from the Antarctic. (It's winter here now.) The lowest temperature here would be around 8 Celcius. But, the wind can blow hard, making it seem much colder.

Parts of the country get colder, with snow in winter.

Not very. The cold only lasts from the middle of January to the middle of February, although it used to last from the middle of December to late February. Blame it on global warming.

In this part of the southwest US, winter at night rarely dips below 27.

Summer is the bummer, but at least you don't have to shovel heat. :)

We used to get fairly cold winters with snow and ice throughout the season but here lately the winters have been unusually mild. I expect this trend will continue thanks to climate change.

I live in Seattle, where the climate is kept fairly moderate because of the proximity to the Pacific Ocean. In the Winter, it's usually around 40-45 degrees F (about 4-6 degrees C).

It can get much colder, but those really cold days are usually few and far between.

we get snow and typically, days are in the 20's-40's, lows in the teens and single digits. since i've lived here, the lowest it got one night was -3. the lowest high it got one day was 14.

it varies, but it gets pretty chilly. luckily, nothing like the midwest or northern u.s, but still.
