    If it's "half filled", then it is 40 feet deep and has 3,000 cubit feet of water in it.

    this looks like homework help. Divide the cubic feet of water by height to which it is filled. {300} then divide by pi {95.5} take square root. [about 9.75] This is the radius of the tank in feet.
