My hamburgers are always raw in the middle and burnt on the outside. they also fall apart on the stove. how do i prevent this?

i use a nonstick pan because I don't have a grill. I used to use my cast iron skillet but the meat ended up sticking to the pan and it was still raw in the middle and burnt on the outside. any ideas? I use breadcrumbs and eggs to try to bind it together but it still falls apart on the stove.
