Are these bug bites?

I’ve been in the woods for the past few days but only like an hour a day. Are these bug bites? They’re all over both of my legs!! And they itch but not terribly. It’s not poison ivy ?

Those are bug bites, for sure. The size of the welts on your thighs make me think you're having a mild allergic reaction to them. (I do that, but worse.) Nothing to worry about, but something to avoid.

    User a repellent containing DEET.

To deal with the itch now, try Benadryl gel. It's the best I've found.

Yes, bug bites. (They don't look like tick bites to me.)

That many, you might want to take a low-dose of an oral antihistamine (like Benadryl).

Yes, you should buy bug repellant and spray your legs before going to the forest, or wear long pants and sneakers.

Hard to say. I would see your Dr in case they are tick bites which can = lyme disease.

Lyme disease is actually specific to a certain type of tick and is prevalent only in certain areas of the U.S. So depends where this person lives also.
