If you have to move off campus in the middle of the semester because you dropped from 12 credits to 9 credits do you get any of the money?

Back that you paid for housing at most schools? You pay for dorms by year or semester not by month.

Usually the school doesn't kick out people mid-semester. They do so at the end if you're no longer eligible. And no refunds - they can't lease out the room after you go, and your not being a FT student anymore isn't their problem. If this is a situation you're in consider whether college is right for you at this present time and come up with another plan for life.

Usually not. Ditto if you drop out. It's usually too late to assign that housing to another student, and it's not the school's fault you no longer qualify for housing.
