    Probably with a WiFi or an ethernet connection. Some routers have a USB socket, so that cable might make it possible.

    You can use an Internet service like Jfax.com which will accept any image from your computer and then transfer by phone line to someone's fax machine. I used that by scanning to a file, then sending to Jfax.com. Works great, not expensive, and I have a copy of what I sent on my computer if it does not go through.
