Why is their no photos of life in the 18th century especially American Revolution?
Update:
I thought the industrial revolution happened just as the American revolution started.

It was well into the 19th century first camera was invented.

Since cameras and photography had not yet been invented, images created during this period were usually paintings or sketches. Click on the link below for examples.

Because the first photographic process called "Daguerreotype" was not invented til the 1830's

They were destroyed by the Catholic church along with all of the photos of Jesus.
