Should not Australian Christian Lobby be ashamed for supporting Israel Folau's homophobic rants?

Apparently they have now opened a Go Fund Me page to raise funds for this homophobic ranting Christian to fight Rugby Australia. After his personal Go Fund Me page has been shut down.

So much for inclusiveness hey Australia! Just what we always needed ... so called Christian organisation raising funds for him to fight an inclusive sport. As if there was not more worthy charities and causes that could better do with support. A million dollars+ that could have relieved the suffering of do many. Shame.

I can only assume he's taken one too many cracks in the head while playing.

Haters gotta hate.-.....and then blame Others when called out for their hating.

Christians will use their fairy tale book of fables to justify their belief that being gay is "wrong"---while they break just about every other rule in the book.

Look at the evangelicals in the USA all supporting TRUMP.....an adulterer, liar, cheat, swindler, fornicator with Porn stars........

and they support him...........just because he's putting right leaning judges on the Supreme court, and hope to overturn their Pet cause.........Roe vs Wade........taking abortion rights AWAY from women.

So these good christians, all turn a blind eye to lying, cheating, fornicating, adultery, and every other sin Trump commits, just because he might do them a favor.

It's total nonsense,..............and Folou got what he deserved for his intolerant hate.

and only a true Christian........would support such hate.

NO WHERE in my bible,. does it say "Jesus cast the gays out of his Church or Kingdom of heaven. "

In fact, Jesus said..........ALL are welcome, and HE embraced lepers and prostitutes.

God did not decide that gays are not worthy........men in fancy robes, ---protecting every form of depravity, child abuse, and pedolhilia, made that rule..........while they committed even far worse sins, IN the name of GOD.

How DARE the Church lecture about Gays, when it's own ranks are FULL and RIFE with sickening child molesters and rapists. ....and they KNOW IT!-

Not a single POPE has sat on that Holy THRONE, without a history of protecting some pedophile---that they knew full damn well about.

Only to "transfer" them , to another parish, where they just raped a Whole new bunch of kids.

The Christian Lobby wants to raise some money..............GOOD, Start a fund for COMPENSATION for the MILLIONS of priest abuse victims out there.

Folau made his own mess.........let him stew in it.

Can't wait for this mess of Folau's to be over and done with and we never have to hear about his nonsense again. Those Christians who think he posts those excerpts, that think he does so from the goodness of his heart, are deluded. I see the stalker who reported my every reply has finally left. 😊

    Go Fund Me:

Clause 8 reads: "...campaigns we deem, at our sole discretion, to be in support of, or for the legal defence of alleged crimes associated with hate, violence, harassment, discrimination, terrorism or intolerance of any kind relating to race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, sex, gender or gender identity or serious disabilities of diseases."

So why should Go Fund Me permit Folau, and his extremist views, to be worthy of a charitable drive?

For goodness sake people, have your views if you must yes (no harm in that), but don't spurt your hate speech, then cry foul when you are called out. Folau didn't like being sacked; but no one minds he is trying to sue Rugby Australia, as is his right to try. (Why did he not spurt such nonsense when he was an unknown? Hmm?) Does that make him right though? No. Does that make him right to put himself forward as a charity case on Go Fund Me? No. He should apologise for the hurt he has caused.

Not all Christians are against being gay. Some know it is not a choice, lifestyle, behavior, perversion, mental illness, or something someone "practices." They know it is an individual's identity, and is totally unconnected from things such as pedophilia, which is a disorder of perversion.

God makes each of us exactly who we are. God makes people gay for a purpose. Could be to prevent a genetic illness from continuing on in the family. Could be because a foster child needs them. Could be the world needs them in another way.

As for Christians who are against homosexuality...

I believe they have incorrectly followed the politically-motivated anti-gay crusade that has been going on for less than a century, in which the Bible was targeted during revisions leading to new translations. I believe they are following what is popular and trending in organized religion instead of following and spreading the Gospel.

Following some mistranslations in modern Bibles and taking several verses, events, and concepts out of context, many denominations have taken a stance against homosexuality. The several verses used against homosexuality are totally mistranslated, misunderstood, and/or taken out of context. (Ex: 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:26-27; others; destruction of Sodom). But I believe being gay is not a sin. It takes a little bit of digging at culture, the Bible, and original word meanings to conclude this. It is important to note: The bible had never included the words "homosexual" or "homosexuality" until the 1940's.

Most Christians against being gay have NEVER done ANY research of their own on the topic. They are simply following the majority of Christians even though we are taught to take the "narrow gate." But not every Christian denomination or individual Christian have fallen for this anti-gay crusade. Many Christians who believe being gay is sin say that Christians who DO NOT believe being gay is sin are following the ways of the world, twisting the Bible to fit what THEY want it to say, and/or are not true Christians. I disagree 100%.

As for what sodomy is, note Ezekiel 16:49-50 in ANY translation...

    https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ezeki...

    The "abomination" committed was idolatry.

Also note in the book of Jude "going after strange flesh" refers to idolatry. "Sexual immorality" refers to pagan temple prostitution practices. Nothing to do with homosexuality.

Use a reference Bible. Always read ALL surrounding context. Go back to authentic word meanings in the original languages to clarify confusion.

Like I read the other evening "If God does not love gays then why did he make them?"

No why should they, they are correct and he is right about homo's The Bible is the truth and these people cannot face the truth about their despicable lifestyle. If it is okay to say that prostitution is wrong why is it not okay to say that the gay lifestyle is wrong, AND more to the point why should a person lose his job over it. He did not threaten them in any way. THis is getting ridiculous and so in your face that it is sickening. Gays know its wrong that is why they are so touchy about it.

No-one should be sacked for expressing what their religion teaches.

If he has incited violence against gay people , I agree that is wrong. he can be fired.

But merely saying people practicing homosexuality will make you lose salvation is NOT wrong.

I think you should perhaps read exactly what he announced publicly on Instagram; basically hate speech. He chose his moment to be so vocal also, not before when he was an unknown. Why then? What you wrote sounds so much more polite, even if it means the same thing to you. I politely disagree.

Unless Folau's statement was loud or violent his truthful statement, concerning reprobates, according to The Word of God (The Tree of Life, Light, Love, Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge), was not a rant: Rom 1:25-32

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.

    28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things, which are not convenient;

29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31 Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they, which commit such things, are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
