What kind of foam is used for sculpting?

There are these purses on Etsy that look like realistic food and they're really cool, but really expensive. I would like to make one myself with my own designs, but can't figure out what material is used. The seller just says they're made of "hard foam," but I was wondering if anyone would be able to point me in the right direction to find the best kind? Thanks :)

upholstery foam is used for sculpting and EVA foam can also be used, but mostly for cosplay props like swords and axes

Styrofoam. You can coat it with 2 pack polyurethane to make the surface more durable. At least that's what prop makers use to create special effects. It is closed-cell extruded polystyrene foam that is used for floristry and crafts (expensive) and building insulation (much cheaper).

They are probably made from a mold. You want to make a mold.
