Many states give reductions/deductions to seniors, no state eliminates them entirely

A quick internet search shows Indiana is one of the least friendly towards seniors when it comes to property taxes

Age has no relation to property taxes. If you own the property, you have to pay the taxes that go along with it.

Actually most states have senior discounts

You may be able to get a reduction/discount, but you will still owe, yes.

Property taxes are administered by the county, not the state.

Yes, if you want to keep your property. You may get a break on your assessment and get your tax reduced.

Everyone pays taxes regardless of your age, you pay taxes until you die.

You may qualify for a reduction but, you are always going to pay something.
