Would a car explode upon impact at over 100 mph?

So I saw a video of an old ford focus slamming into a solid steel wall at 120 mph and it pretty much folded in half but, it did not explode. I wanted to know if perhaps adding something flammable such as gasoline would cause an instantaneous explosion or would it still just crumple?
