How come when paying with a credit card it come out instantly but getting a refund takes a few days to go back on the card?

    The money is in your bank account, not on the card. If you have a debit card it will usually not pay out if there is no money in that account. If it paid out you will probably have interest added because you 'borrowed' without permission. If it's a credit card you know you'll be charged because that is the nature of 'credit'.

    wrong terms. (as per the description) You mean DEBIT card. People must verify the refund is valid, which is why it takes a few days for the money to be put back into your bank account. {There is NO money "ON" a card.}
