Maybe because certain people are completely fed up of being told that their lifestyle is a perfectly normal acceptable alternative to a heterosexual lifestyle. We are fed up of being told what to think and do by the thought police. I have yet to meet even ONE homophobic person. Why should anyone FEAR someone who has sex with their own gender. I am allowed to hate that activity/behaviour. The bible states it is vile and an abomination in God's eyes. No earthly government can force us to say that Wrong is Right and that the opinion of people in government supersedes that of an Almighty God.
When that happens we will be like communist countries where they are afraid to have an opinion or a belief in a higher power because the country's government tells them they must not believe in anything but the STATE.
Judgement Day must be close I believe.

An increase in the general lack of tolerance and pure uncontrolled nastiness amongst the youth. They don't have, nor will they take, any role models other than gutter gangsters. Then there is the withdrawal of effective policing from the streets... Apparently. cost-cutting and not increasing taxes increases a government's potential to become re-elected.

Because these diseased lot are holding gay pride marches instead of keeping quiet and that annoys decent people.
