What are good brands of coffee I could try?

All the coffee brands I've tried, though cheap are incredibly bitter and have resorted to using so much creamer the coffee drink turns almost white. However I love bittersweet chocolate so bitterness in the mouth is fine after drinking, but should be smooth while being drank.

You should be buying medium roast. I'm guessing you got espresso and put it through a drip? IDK. And you should be grinding it medium not extra fine. LaVazza Classico medium roast is a good creamy, readily available and not expensive brand. If it's too strong, use less beans per cups of water!

My go-to (I'm ashamed to say) is Starbucks Italian, with Sumatran as my back-up. However, I consider the company ethically hideous. But they're on the grocer's shelves.

I think you should consider that you don't actually like coffee.
