Yes they are the same. Imagine you had a pizza cut in 3 slides and another cut in 6 slides. If you eat 2 slides of the one divided by 3 is the same as eating 4 slides of a pizza divided by 6.

Yes, and here's how:

You multily by (1). Multiplying by 1 does not change the value.

(2/2) = 1

2/3 (2/2) = 4/6 tada! I really like tada's!

2/3 = 4/6

yes because if you reduce 4/6 in simplest form it would be 2/3

Yes they are the same because when you divide 4 and 6 by 2 you get 2/3!

They're equivalent fractions. Obviously, the two are not exactly the same - different digits. And sometimes, a number like 4/6 means "4 out of 6," like "4/6 of the judges voted for her," implying there were 6 judges, or page 4/6, implying a total of 6 pages.
