Can world peace be achieved if world leaders became more egalitarian?

It is not wise to let any philosophy rule over a nation or the world for that matter. The government has a duty to be agnostic and neutral as possible. It's job is to make sure the people of various philosophies do not kill each other and that the entire human venture is profitable for the whole organism of humanity, whatever their persuasion, as well as this planet that is our home and residence.
The job of government is to be the sanity of all our insanity. I do not think you have to put forth egalitarianism to argue that under a fair government as I have stipulated, that it should protect those who need protecting. It should not care what you are just that you serve the future of the world, of humanity and of life everywhere. Let us not be stupid and be a protector to all of our keep.

No. Because that is just a euphemism for Communism, and that doesn't work. Some people work hard and others are lazy and think' "the world owes them a living!"

Sure, and we'd all become rich as soon as money begins growing on trees.

There's a lot of egalitarian leaders that have contributed to wars, or at least wars started by leaders for egalitarian reasons. So....no.

As long as there is greed there can be no "world peace".
It is human nature to want what others have. It is human nature to want more than we need, more than we can use, more than the other guy, more, more, MORE!

No..... world peace can not be achieved until the resource-demand gap is removed and that too by ensuring simultaneously that there are no glaring differences between the rich and poor nations..... in short, world-peace is a Utopia.

Sure. But "egalitarianism" is a fiction, an Alice-in-Wonderland conception that cannot happen at this point in history. The notion that we are all "equal " is truly one the dumbest notions that have been introduced by the progressive community.

Nope. That would be Armageddon.

If they became egalitarian enough, yes, but it's a big "if".
