The formula 1/3𝜋𝑟^2ℎ gives the volume of a cone with height h and base radius r.

Solve the formula for h. Then find h when r = 2 inches and V = 45 cubic

inches.

    V = 45 in³

    V = (πr²h)/3

    3V = πr²h

    3V/πr² = h

    h = 3V/πr²

    h = 10.74 in
