This question has been asked a hundred times in the last couple of weeks since the 'captcha' was introduced. Why not look at FAQ before posting yet ANOTHER identical question?

Fine but if you have proved that on your first question or answer then that should be sufficient. As long as you stay logged on after your first CAPTCHA then there is no need for anymore. YA is the only site on the internet who requires it with every post. Time to find an alternative.

You may be posting too many Q and A too quickly and too often.

I only answer about 5 questions a day now and I don't have to complete the reCAPTCHA puzzle

To help beat the bots and human spammers who won't go through the steps to post spam messages.

Not a quiz. Just a way to prove you are not a bot.

It is a new anti-spam measure to prove that you are a human and not a bot. It is being used to fight spam on the site.

There is no quiz. There is a captcha that many users have to get through, to prove they are not an automated bot, in order to post a question or answer (I hadn't seen anyone complain about the captchas affecting comments, since comments don't get points and really don't matter).

Why ? Do you suspect that many of the contributors are slightly round the bend ? You could in some cases be right. Speak plainly and honestly instead of in riddles.
