No age. I started collecting my consoles since Atari. I have the 1st Atari, the 1st Nintendo, Super NES, and the N-64; I also have the 1st Play Station, PS-2, PS-3 [original release console], and, recently, a PS-4. They all work like new.
At 71 yo, I find them most enjoyable, and a good way too escape reality once in a while.
I like too go on line and team up with my Sons and play Call of Duty.
I found it too be a very good foundation for 'relating' to my kids while they were growing up.
It is really funny when we would play Mortal Combat, and they would kick the crap out of me; [ Nothing like getting your butt kicked by a 6 and 8 yo ], but, I would nail them in some of the others.
I am just waiting for the perfection of VR, so, I can bask in its graphics in awe.
I am amazed at the evolution of the graphics over the last 20 years, From pixel land to, needing too put restrictions on the graphics, in order too 'not' make them look too real.
I look 'so forward', to the future of VR, It will be so wonderfully intense, for me.
