Found 2 roaches in a brand new fridge. How did they get in, why, and how to get rid of them!?

Factory joke. Normally they are frozen in the ice cube tray.

🎶Roaches in the kitchen, There be Roaches on the dishes, Let me see you move your feet, Like Roaches on the dishes baby🎶 -- You can get Diatomaceous Earth powder to dry them out as well. Just remember to get Food-Grade strength (safe for humans and pets). If you get the industrial strength, it can make you all dangerously ill. Also, careful not to breathe too much of it in. The powder can stick to human sinuses and stuff ya up as if you had a cold.

Borax (in powdered form) works well. It is non-toxic to humans, but if you have a dog or cat it is QUITE toxic to them, so either don't use iit or put it in a place (like under the fridge) where they can't reach it.
As for how the roaches got in, I can't say, but it seems that they are rather limber.
