Did Prince Charles know that his mistress, Mrs Camilla ParkerBowles, was married during their long affair, or was she able to hide this fact?

Did Prince Charles know who her husband was?

Charles knew her husband, so I assume that he knew she was married.

Prince Charles was godparent to Camilla and her husbands first child, Andrew Parker Bowles was also the Commanding Officer at Charles and Diana's wedding procession, so of course he knew she was married.

She hid it almost as well as Charles hid his marriage to Diana.

This is obvious trolling. Charles knew Andrew Parker Bowles, who worked for the Queen and it is well-documented that Charles was disappointed, when, while he was serving a tour of duty in the Navy, found out the Camilla married Andrew Parker Bowles.

Charles was friends with both Parker Bowles and is their son's, Tom's, godfather.

Andrew Parker Bowles was a serial philanderer during his relationship with Camilla. Camilla began her affair with Charles around 1979-1980; they ended the affair in order for Charles to court and marry Diana Spencer. The affair rekindled in 1986.

    1. She wasn't married 'during their long affair'.

    2. He heard that she'd married Parker Bowles when doing service in the Navy and was, apparently, heart-broken.

    3. Parker Bowles moved in the same circle as Prince Charles so OF COURSE he know him, and about their marriage.

    4. I imagine she knew about his marriage too. But they were always there for each other.

I'm sad about Diana (more about the fact others decided she was the one to marry him than much else) but see all of this as a closing of the circle. And that doesn't make the death of Diana any better.

Why is this the business of anyone but the people involved? Of course Charles knew all about her marriage and knew her husband well. Why would she hide it?
