Do you ever look at the weather forecast and see a lot of rain and thunderstorms for the next week, and think that this must be fake news?

Look at northeast region promising heavy thundershowers and we only got light rain these past few days

No, because I never rely on forecasts more than a few days in advance, except when hurricanes are coming.

It's exceptionally difficult to forecast the weather even in a week's time, even more so to speculate on the world's climate 50 years down the track.

You do realize, donnie that weather and climate are not the same, right?

Definitely fake news in many instances. We have cancelled motorcycle trips out because the weather forecast has predicted heavy rain and it's been dry all day. Conversely, dry forecasts have left us soaked to the skin, so now we make up our own mind and largely ignore the forecast, especially from the BBC.

no forecasters can predict lightning and thunderstorms accurately only if it happens on the same day otherwise theyre making a guess based on current information, clouds can change direction by the next day preventing storms so theres no way for them to predict anything accurately for next week
