Are the CAPTCHA tests just another way to collect data for AI programs [and annoy people]?Does 'boycott' come to mind?

Uhh... google has blatantly admitted that's the whole purpose of captcha and that's the reason google's privacy policy now applies.

I found out that porn sites had 33 billion visits last year. I think that's a huge market and they are tapping into it. In the 12 years I've been coming here I never have clicked on an ad. Well maybe when they changed from the purple monster but that's about it.

They are intended to combat " Bots " and it appears to be working .
