I think what is happening is that you are suffering from a lack of emotional attention from your boyfriend. I think you should try and rectify this. What I would do is to be proactive and plan things. Remember, guys are always more hesitant to cancel when their partners plan something because they cannot live with the guilt. Additionally, try doing things that will help him relax. A guy can be so much more attentive to a woman's emotional needs when he is well rested and stress free. Finally, communication is key so don't be afraid to tell your husband how you are feeling. He needs to know what is going through your head for his own good, even if it hurts him.
