Do coaches look at skill or athleticism in college football?

Can a person who lacks skill play at the college level purely off athleticism

    At the higher levels, they look at skill, at the lower levels, like D2,D3 & the NAIA some may make it purely off athleticism.

    College football coaches looks more at a player's skill. A player who lacks skill and relies purely off athleticism usually has a poor work ethic.
