Are .060 acrylic sheets thick enough to build a terrarium ?

    A bit thin, but will work. Not suitable for aquatic or larger than say 10 gallon.

    I used 8 gage lexan for what is like a 140 gallon, that is like 4MM thick=.15 inches.

      Close enough to acrylic in this respect, big difference between 10 and 140 gallon, and only mouse cage at that.

    Depends on the size of the terrarium. That might be okay for something that is very very small, but even 3/16" (three times that thickness) has a tendency to bow when used for ten gallon terrariums. I'd use thicker materials.

    Probably. That is about the width of six sheets of paper.
