What's the word for not being able to make up wrongs because a person has done so much damage they can't fix it? Un- or in- something?

Describing a state of a situation somebody is in with a group or person.

    Reprehensible damage, thus banished into captivity - Something of thier own doing, but sometimes not, thus cast out a sheep amid wolf. But for the wolves, cats can argue that bears don't like them.
