Why would 2 tests say that I’m depressed when I don’t feel like I am?

It’s still the individuals choice to accept that as true enough or not!!! Who cares then if you think it’s not right!!!???!!!

You've probably been depressed so long, it feels normal to you. Get treatment, you could feel GREAT!!!

We don't see what's going on, others do.

Before answering, let me ask why you took the tests?
One thought is that the people administering the tests make more money if they can treat you for an "illness."

Which tests were they? There are reliable tests for depression, and then there might be some random made up quiz on the internet. If you think that it was a reliable test, but you don't feel depressed, I would talk to a professional about it. It's possible that you have another medical problem that needs to be addressed. Some symptoms of depression include:
Trouble concentrating, remembering details, and making decisions
Feelings of guilt, worthlessness, and helplessness
Pessimism and hopelessness
Insomnia, early-morning wakefulness, or sleeping too much
Loss of interest in things once pleasurable, including sex
Overeating, or appetite loss
Aches, pains, headaches, or cramps that won't go away
Digestive problems that don't get better, even with treatment
Persistent sad, anxious, or "empty" feelings
Suicidal thoughts or attempts
You don't have to have ALL of the symptoms, I think it's something like 5 of them. Maybe you could meet with a therapist for just one session to get some clarity? Good luck!
