Why don't people tell teenagers to be quiet when they're in public?

Teens are so loud, they scream for no reason on the bus or in public. I actually told them to shut up yesterday because no one wanted to. I was on the bus and had a headache I couldn't take it anymore.

I told a young mother with a crying baby to leave a movie theater once. Just be polite when you make your request.

Because most people know they were once that loud and don’t want to be called out in public by the one teen smart enough to call you a hypocrite.

At the D Day service in the park last week there were lots of little kids running around making a lot of noise but a group of teenagers present were quiet and respectful, even though some were smoking.
