BUBBLES IN CHEMICAL REACTION?

I did a copper cascade reaction involving 4 reactions and at the end there was some bubbling. The chemical reactions are: 1. Double displacement reaction of Cu(NO3)2 (aq) + 2NaOH (aq) → Cu(OH)2 (s) + 2NaNO3 (aq) 2. Thermal decomposition reaction of Cu(OH)2 (s) → CuO (s) + H2O (l) 3. Neutralisation reaction of CuO... show more I did a copper cascade reaction involving 4 reactions and at the end there was some bubbling. The chemical reactions are:

3. Neutralisation reaction of CuO (s) + H2SO4 (aq) → CuSO4 (aq) + H2O (l)
4. Redox reaction of CuSO4 (aq) + Fe (s) → FeSO4 (aq) + Cu (s)

There was several water washings and an acetone washing at the end. Can any of the chemicals above react and form bubbles?
