fruit trimmed, peeled, cut..put into can with liquid, juice or sugar syrup. Sealed and heated to a certain temperature for a certain length of time.

JUST like home canning in jars which I did for years and years.

The factory takes fruit and tins, prepares the fruit (chop or slice, peel, remove stones) fill tins, add syrup or juice, seal tins and pasteurize.

A factory puts it into tins with juice and seals it. It is not made.

They buy the fruit from the market garden or wholesaler, cut it, shut it, pickle it in sugar syrup or other preservative and can it.
