take sea-salt for heartburn instead etc....and fix your diet, I have no way of knowing your issue, but I know that family eating habits are more responsible for issues ,than some imagined dna thing......hope you never get it, I didn't go thru my scheduled colonoscopy and I'm still here, that was the 1980's...[ fruit-real protein-potato ] at each meal..... not some diet of the month..[ westonaprice dot org ] knows nutrition, the true reason we eat, we need way more minerals, iodine, healthy oils/fats, and real sat, not that fake white garbage for sale at the store.....best wishes....

You can take any medication but preferably not a blood thinning medication like Aspirin.

    EDIT

    I had a colonoscopy 4 weeks ago.
