An eye dr. can give you a prescription for an ointment you put in the eye. Also, use warm, wet compresses two-three times a day. f your eye is red and inflamed, you could have an infection, so it might be wise to have a dr. check it out.

Styles are plugged glands, heat is needed to get them to drain, if they get big an eye doc can nick them open. They are not usually infections.

SIMPLE TO DO APPLY WARM COMPRESSES AND FLUSH THE EYE WITH PLAIN SALINE AS OFTEN AS NEEDED THIS ALSO HELPS WITH THE ITCH

You may need antibiotics, sir, as styes are caused by a staphylococcal bacterial infection.

Read the following webpage about styes.
