Being 30 minutes "late" taking your birth control pill isn't going to hurt a darn thing (if you'r taking the combination pill - which most women are)..

Your body doesn't operate by the time of day that's shown on your clock on the wall. Your body doesn't know if you're 30 minutes "late" or if you're 30 minutes "early; or what time of day it is, and it doesn't care. All your body wants you to do is send down one BC pill every day, at SOME TIME during every 24 hours.

30 minutes is not 'late.' You don't have to take it to the minute or second every day.

Even the progestin-only pill has more leeway than that.

30 minutes late will make no difference at all.

Use condoms to be extra safe, but you should be ok, as long as you take it every day.
