what will happen if i get diagnosed with a bacterial or yeast infection?

    go to the doctor they will give u antibiotics to eat n tablets to insert in vagina for 7 days if infection is more and prescribe you to eat lots of cranberries

    If a doctor diagnoses you with a bacterial or a yeast infection, he will prescribe an oral medication for you to take to clear it up. That's ALL that's "going to happen".

    Don't worry, if you go to a walk-in clinic and they diagnose you, they will typically give you some antibiotics. They are in most cases not something to stress about. If the antibiotics don't work or they make you sick, try taking probiotics. Make sure to always use soap down there but not too much so you can maintain a healthy pH!

    Metronidazole is for Bacterial Infection.

    Not much. They’ll prescribe you medicine or suggest you take an over-the-counter remedy, you’ll go and take it, and you’ll mostly get better. Occasionally the first round of medication won’t work and you’ll have to go back. Nothing too dire.
