China Hong Kong Extradition?

People talk about China extraditing Hong Kong criminals back to China.

Can Hong Kong government vise versa extradiate Chinese criminals in China, if they kill someone in Hong Kong and run away?

Isn't the agreement good both ways?

If they agree, China can extradite, but Hong Kong can also extradite criminals in China, right?

People are worried that extradition would be used against people that are vocal against the P.R.C's government.

Some extradition agreements between countries work both ways. The situation with Hong Kong and mainland China is more complex. Hong Kong was a British colony until the 1990s. They were successful economically, and different culturally. Then China took over Hong Kong, but allowed it some autonomy for a while, which they are gradually taking away. So the extradition protests are really about how much local autonomy Hong Kong has in all areas, not just about one criminal.
