He has 36 regular hours work weeks and he gets paid overtime at time-and-a-half for any hours worked over 36 hours. Assume that 1 year = 52 weeks.

a. Calculate his annual salary.

b. Calculate his overtime rate of pay.

c. If he worked a total of 94 hours during his last bi-weekly pay-period, calculate his gross payment for the last pay-period.

    a) 26*2150 = $55900

    b) Normal hourly rate = 2150/72 = $29.8611

    Overtime rate = 1.5*29.8611

    = $44.79 per hour

    c) 2150+(94-72)*44.79

    = $3135.38
