if you spray starting fluid into a car with fuel injection will it make a big pop?

I've had motors backfire out the intake and start a fire while trying to get them to start.

You don't need to spray more then a small quick blast of it into the throttle body when using starter fluid.

Not usually unless there are valve timing issues.

It can if you spray for more than one second. Too much starting fluid is not a good thing.
