Sounds like a bad roach problem...

Sure. If you put it in your checked luggage. Use a gallon bag for carry-on and it will just be taken away from you at customs.

Sure, but then the TSA will just make you throw it all away. You have to follow the rules like the rest of us.

In agreement with all the other sensible responders - BUT - must be a SINGLE LAYER when laid flat. You cannot jam it like a middle school girl's makeup bag.

And the vigilance of TSA agents varies widely from place to place - I have carried tons of meds without a blink, and got pulled aside for a front- hook BRA.

Yes you can use a gallon size bag... as long as you put that bag in your checked luggage.

In a carry-on bag, the limit is a single 1 quart (or 1 litre) bag, and individual bottles inside that bag can be no more than 3.4oz/100mL. Anything in excess of that won't be let through and you'll have to dispose of it as you go through security.

No, quart size is the maximum, plus items need to be 100ml volume each, ie travel size toiletries and other small liquid items. Larger volume it end need to go in checked luggage.

TSA says a quart size - that is all you can carry on. Larger things must be in a checked bag. If you get to the security checkpoint with other than what is permitted, you will be giving the option of pitching the gallon sized bag, or NOT getting through the checkpoint. They sell travel sized personal care items or empty bottles at any grocery store. You can go to the TSA web site and find out any restrictions for your carry on "stuff" which will have to go through x-ray, and is randomly subject to a hand search.
