How do you know whether or not you have Lyme disease?

    1. Almost always, if you have Lyme then you also have a distinct lesion that looks like a "Target" trademark -- a dot with a circle around it.

    2. Almost always, if you have Lyme then you feel like crap. If you're feeling OK then you probably don't have Lyme. If you're feeling like you're maybe coming down with a cold or flu, just kind of weak and achy and under the weather, then you may be infected.

    You need to have bloodwork done after having been bit by a deer tick. Look for the famous bullseye ring around the tick bite. If it's not there, it's very unlikely that you have Lymes.
