If Tom Brady injured himself preseason, and the Patriots signed Tony Romo out of retirement, how many games do you think Tony Romo could win?

This may have been the most funny thing I have read all day. I'd say they would go 8-8 missing the playoffs.

Tony Romo would not win any games, teams win games, not quarterbacks

0...he wouldn't play. BB doesn't often play QB's off the street, that don't know his system. Much less a guy who hasn't seen game action in years.

BB plays guys he's had through the offseason and training camp or guys he's had in his system before. He's a situational coach. He's prepped and is prepping the guys he already has IN CAMP for this exact situation. It won't be Romo.

Letting go of Garapolo may have been a huge (Patriot) mistake.

Garapolo looked like an elite QB,starting for the 49ers,when he

    was healthy.

(Getting Peyton Manning out of retirement, would be a lot better than getting Romo.)

Romo was a great QB, amazingly underrated, but his play had already diminished considerably towards the end of his career in Dallas and he's been out of the league for some time now.

I don't see him playing well at all, or being a better alternative to Brian Hoyer.
