Is it unnecessary to disinfect your kitchen sink with bleach?

    Yes, couple of times a week at least

    If you think there are bad bugs there. But as for the usual bugs, they will come back so fast that it does not make any difference. And that is the sewer line that is tied onto the bottom of the sink.

    Unless you've put something truly terrible in the sink it's unnecessary. Soap, hot water and elbow grease are sufficient.
