I ate in my kitchen while a gas stove was on and after. Could inhaling the gas particles lead to any brain damage?
I turned off the gas after about 5 minutes and ate in the kitchen for another 15. It was pretty well ventilated, a window and a door was open to let air in from outside.

I am sure that you have inhaled hydrocarbon gasses thousands of times in your life, most of the time not even being aware of it. Five minutes in a well ventilated room is not going to knock any points off your IQ score or affect your fine motor skills.

No John. Any damage was already present.
