Can someone tell me what’s the cost of adult electric bikes?

Stop to think for maybe 1/2 second about where lots of different stuff is sold.
I suppose you've heard about Amazon and Wal-mart?
Anything popular, don't you think you can find it there?
So let me do some typing for you.
Seems that these "fine offerings" start just shy of $600. With the occasional folder for less than $500.
But maybe you want something that'll actually stand up to being used?
So we head over to Specialized, a bike brand that'll take maybe 45 seconds to discover among bicycle ads if you're a slow reader, or by taking a stroll past a bike stand somewhere :https://www.specialized.com/us/en/shop/bikes/turbo...
Theirs top out at $5000, and bottom out at $2500.
Let's try Trek, not exactly a low-profile brand either:
Here, you can pay as much as $9000, or as little as $2400.
So there you have it.
The stuff that exists mainly b/c people manage to get bored before failure occurs start at $600. The stuff that's meant to last starts at $2500. Between there, take a guess.
While I was looking at a DIY conversion, my parts list ran to about $1000 for stuff - and suppliers - that seemed to offer SOME degree of reliability and after-sales support.

According to the very good answers so far, anywhere between $600 and Over $8000. Pick your poison. If you want something really good, it will not be cheap

The cost is how much you have to pay. If you have a worse question please think then do not post it.
